Dr. Christian Giovanni DO, Psy.D.

Executive Director 

Dr. Giovanni is a distinguished Criminal Psychologist and community leader of Thai and Italian heritage, recognized as the first mixed-heritage leader to represent the Thai community in her region. She bridges Thailand’s rich cultural traditions with the contemporary experiences of Thai Americans, fostering cultural continuity across generations.

As Executive Director of Giovanni Media and a former Commissioner on the Clark County AAPI Committee—a position she held during her full term from 2021 to 2023—Dr. Giovanni has established herself as a prominent voice in Asian American advocacy. She also serves as Cultural Ambassador for the CNY in the Desert Non-Profit Organization and Executive Sponsor of the Chinese American Citizens Alliance, while maintaining active involvement in Muay Thai productions that celebrate traditional martial arts and Thai cultural heritage.

Dr. Giovanni’s deep community roots stem from her family’s enduring legacy in Thai American media. Her mother, the founder and Editor-in-Chief of Las Vegas News—Nevada’s oldest and largest Thai newspaper since 1999—paved the way for generational leadership in cultural journalism and community representation.

Widely recognized for her principled leadership and steadfast advocacy, Dr. Giovanni serves as a trusted and vital liaison between Asian immigrant communities and government institutions, fostering meaningful communication and mutual understanding across cultural boundaries. Her humanitarian initiatives and sponsorship of cultural programs reflect a lifelong dedication to community empowerment and the preservation of cultural heritage.

Dr. Giovanni is respected for her nurturing yet results-driven leadership style and her exceptional ability to cultivate and sustain strategic partnerships with elected officials, government agencies, and multicultural leaders across the nation. Through public forums, community events, and interagency collaboration, she has strengthened civic engagement and advanced cohesive community relations.

Miss Ranee Samerthai Esq.

Miss Samerthai is a native of Las Vegas. She Graduated from Community College of Southern NV with an AA in General Education before transferring to UNLV and graduating with a BA in Political Science, with a minor in Sociology. After graduating, She worked for a medical office as their manager for many years before deciding on furthering her education. She attended law school at Barry University in Orlando, Florida where she received her (JD)Juris Doctorate.

After graduating, she returned home to Las Vegas and began her career first as a law clerk, then as an immigration attorney at Tingey Injury Law Firm.

Miss Samerthai has been married for 16 years with 4 children, she enjoys spending her free time with her family. Her mother, now retired, owned and operated one of the first Thai restaurants in Las Vegas called Sawadee. Her family are pioneers from when Thai immigrants first arrived in Las Vegas. Miss Samerthai holds deep roots in our wonderful city, and truly cares about our community.

Miss Diane Sirikhan

Miss Sirikhan was born and raised in Las Vegas, Nevada. She is a results-driven real estate professional known for her strategic approach, in-depth market knowledge, and strong negotiation skills—all guided by a high level of integrity.

Fully committed to serving her clients, she consistently delivers exceptional results with the utmost professionalism and expertise. Fluent in both English and Thai, Miss Sirikhan has successfully worked with a diverse range of clients and has established herself as one of the top real estate producers in Las Vegas.

Her excellence has been formally recognized by the Greater Las Vegas Association of Realtors, where she was honored as one of the Top 40 Realtors in Las Vegas in May 2018.

Dr. Amy Tongsiri D.M.D.
Ambassador of Thai Relations

Dr. Amy Tongsiri was born and raised in Las Vegas, NV. She completed her undergraduate studies at UNLV and attended UNLV's School of Dental Medicine. Dr. Tongsiri graduated in 2008, and received her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree. Prior to opening Silver State Smiles, Dr. Tongsiri obtained her licenses and practiced in Iowa, West Virginia, and Nevada. She spent a year managing one of West Virginia's largest dental offices. She enjoyed the scenic beauty of the Great Smokey Mountains, but decided Las Vegas was where she belongs. Dr. Tongsiri opened her family and cosmetic dentistry practice in Las Vegas in April 2010.

Ms. Tin Hwang Esq.

A lifelong Las Vegas, Nevada resident, Ms. Hwang is a first generation Chinese-American with her family roots extending from Taipei and Tainan, Taiwan. Ms. Hwang lived in Taipei, Taiwan for nearly two years and she is fluent in Mandarin, Chinese.

Ms. Hwang received her law degree from the University of Nevada Las Vegas, William S. Boyd School of Law. Prior to practicing, Ms. Hwang clerked at one of the busiest solo legal practitioner in Las Vegas, Nevada. There, she zealously facilitated representation for the Las Vegas community in almost every court in the State, including the Nevada Supreme Court. Ms. Hwang enjoys a diverse general practice with the principle of working with clients in a “people comes first” attitude that sets her apart from other lawyers.

From 2016 to early 2019, Ms. Hwang served as the Special Legal Advocate for a nonprofit organization called Asian American Advocacy Clinic. There, she assisted victims of domestic violence, sexual assault, and human trafficking with obtaining safe housing and protective orders against the victim's abusers. Presently, Ms. Hwang is a sitting executive board member for this nonprofit organization.

Sitanan Sriworakorn

Ambassador of Thai Relations

Sitanan Sriworakorn (Sita) is a cross-border tax and legal professional admitted to the California Bar and the Thai Barrister-at-Law. She has practiced international taxation with leading global and U.S. law firms, including Procopio, Cory, Hargreaves & Savitch LLP in San Diego, and previously served as a tax associate at Baker McKenzie Thailand and a tax legal adviser at PwC Thailand. She has also been an Invited Distinguished Professor at the International Taxation Academy, Training Institute of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of China (Taiwan). She is admitted to the Lawyers Council under the Royal Patronage of Thailand and has held leadership roles in professional legal organizations. Notably, she served as Former Secretary of the Board of Directors of the Thai-American Bar Association (TABA), where she worked closely with the Thai-American community to support community-based legal education, professional mentoring, and outreach initiatives aimed at improving access to legal knowledge and fostering cross-cultural understanding between Thailand and the United States. 

Dr. Anne Yonpiam D.V.M.

Dr. Yonpiam is originally from Thailand and now reside in Las Vegas. She is a veterinarian who has practiced for 10 years both in Thailand and the US. As a veterinarian, she has been working for a pharmaceutical company, academic institution, research institution and public organization to improve animal health care. Her area of specialty is veterinary anatomic pathology which is an area that specialize in the diagnosis, prevention and treatment of diseases in animals and plays an important role in scientific research, drug discovery, and safety.

Dr. Yonpiam dedicates her spare time to volunteer work, family, and all of her fur babies at home.

Miss Tanya Samerthai-Gonzalez

Miss Samerthai is married and enjoys spending her free time with her husband and family. Her sister Ranee is an attorney and legal counsel for the Thai Culture Foundation, their mother Golf, now retired, owned and operated one of the first Thai restaurants in Las Vegas called Sawadee, and another called Tanya. Her family are pioneers from when Thai immigrants first arrived in Las Vegas. Miss Samerthai holds deep roots in our wonderful city, and truly cares about our community.

Miss Renata Kilibarda

Ms. Kilibarda is fluent in multiple languages and has traveled extensively around the world, giving her a deep appreciation for diverse cultures and perspectives. She understands firsthand the importance of providing meaningful support to international families as they adjust to life in America, particularly within the Las Vegas Thai community.

A former journalist and television reporter in Yugoslavia, as well as a former Miss Yugoslavia, Ms. Kilibarda brings a unique blend of media expertise, cultural insight, and public presence to her work. With her extensive background in public relations, she represents the Thai community with exceptional eloquence, professionalism, and grace.
